Two More Lanx Satura Blogs

I have now launched:

  1. The Lanx Satura MetaBlog, which will list all developments in the project as a whole. I will, of course, mention the more important additions here.
  2. M. R. James, Ghost Stories, which will accompany the web publication of the fifteen stories included in Ghost Stories of an Antiquary (1904) and More Ghost Stories (1911), with marginal notes (in the text) and open comments (in the accompanying blog). The first story, and one of the best, is "Canon Alberic's Scrap-Book". Anyone who wishes to read the story without going to the blog first may click here.

Lanx Satura: The First Two Blogs

My first two lit-blogs are now up and ready for unveiling:

  1. Gracián's Oráculo Manual
  2. Ambrose Bierce: Write It Right, A Little Blacklist of Literary Faults

They only have one entry each, but (a) some may wish to 'get in on the ground floor', and (b) the March 2nd entries will be posted just after midnight my time, which is less than an hour away. Bierce's preface is also interesting.

There will definitely be at least one Latin textblog, but I'm undecided as to whether to begin with Martial -- one epigram per day would take almost 5 years to finish -- or someone less voluminous. The most likely alternative is the epigrams attributed to Seneca, in Latin and English. They don't seem to be on the web in any language.

Suggestions are welcome.
