Dear readers:

Comments have been disabled, and the last two posts temporarily unpublished, due to a particularly nasty infestation by one or (possibly) more juvenile trolls. I expect the problem to be resolved in the next few days. Now I'm off to the metaphorical store to buy an extra-large bottle of industrial-strength Troll-Be-Gone^TM.

In the mean time, the non-blog portion of this site is still open. Why not read some Juvenal or Claudian or M. R. James or take a quiz on Latin animal noises?
